About Enterprise Agile Blog
The Enterprise Agile Blog’s mission is to establish a new conversation within the agile community focused on agile within the enterprise context and specifically within the corporate IT setting. Most agile enthusiasts approach the agile methodology from an ISV or new software development perspective. This isn’t a bad thing but it certainly leaves a large void in the dialog for those people, like myself, who are attempting to establish and institutionalize agile within a corporate IT setting where new software development isn’t the only show in town.
The Enterprise Agile Blog’s goal is not to dispense theory but rather to show how we at Graebel are applying the agile methods and mindset within our enterprise to deliver competitive advantage. Thus we will be discussing a wide range of topics like agile development methods, Scrum, disciplines, tools, Lean methods, Kanban, SOA, architecture, program management and many more.
The individuals responsible for the blog and its content are leaders in the Enterprise Applications department within Graebel’s Information Technology department. They are Alan Ruth (Sr. Director, Enterprise Apps), Grace Goerdel (Global Process Leader), Chuck Durfee (Senior Developer/Architect), Jeremy Paden (Senior Developer) & Matt Peck (Program Manager). There will be other contributors from the Enterprise Applications team on occasion to provide additional insight and different perspectives along our agile journey.
